TWL’s 2026 Catherine Chapman Pro Bono Service Award
The Catherine Chapman Pro Bono Service Award will recognize a member of the Florida Bar Association who embodies the enduring commitment Ms. Chapman devoted to pro bono legal services and community involvement during her lifetime.
Since 2019, TWL has honored Catherine Chapman’s legacy with this annual award to recognize how pro bono work helps bridge critical gaps in access to legal services, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations who might otherwise go without support. By honoring these efforts, this award not only acknowledges outstanding service, but also reinforces the values of volunteerism and community engagement and hopefully inspires others to contribute their skills in service of the public good.
Please submit nominations with supporting documentation by March 20, 2026, to TWL’s Awards Chair at: awardschair@mytwl.org.

TWL had a blast representing at the 28th Annual TBA Chili Cook Off on October 16 at Goodwood Museum all in support of the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee.
Our theme, "Troop TWL," brought campy glam to the cook-off crowd. We served up a delicious white chicken chili alongside our signature s’mores margaritas - and they were a hit! The white chicken chili landed TWL the "Best Chili" Award of the night!
Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and supported this fun and meaningful event. We loved connecting with fellow legal professionals, all while raising funds for access to civil legal services in our community.
Until next time, Troop TWL, over and out!
Tallahassee Women Lawyers hosted the 42nd Annual Judicial Reception at Charlie Park on Thursday, October 9, 2025. An evening of connection, celebration, and honoring our judiciary—set against the backdrop of one of Tallahassee’s most scenic venues.
